Terms of Service

Operator: VikVek Tmi (Business ID 2879117-4), trading as "Booking Portal" (the "Platform", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Platform as a customer who books appointments. If you use the Platform as a business, the Merchant Terms apply instead.

1. Our role

Booking Portal is an intermediary platform. The independent business you book with (the "Business") provides the service and is the seller and contracting party for it. We provide the booking platform and collect payment on the Business's behalf. The contract for the service itself is formed between you and the Business.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.

3. Bookings and payment

Prices, availability and service content are set by the Business. Where the Business requires it, a deposit or the full price is taken when you book, through our payment provider; card details are handled by that provider and are never stored by us. Any card-processing charge is shown before you pay.

4. Cancellations, no-shows and refunds

Each Business sets its own cancellation window. If you cancel a paid booking before that window you receive an automatic full refund; if you cancel within the window your prepayment may be retained. The policy that applies is shown before you confirm a cancellation. A no-show is treated as a late cancellation.

5. Reviews and conduct

Any review or other content you submit must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content that breaches it.

6. Service responsibility

The Business is solely responsible for the quality, safety and legality of the services it provides. Complaints about a service should be raised with the Business first.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law the Platform is provided "as is", and we are not liable for the acts or omissions of a Business. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

8. Data protection

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always published here with the "last updated" date shown above.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. As a consumer you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of your domicile. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
